Training and Examinations
Training and Examinations
Training levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced.
Training and Examination information:
Training normally carried on Saturday mornings in the club premises between 10am and noon. If no candidates have arrived by 10.15 the session may be closed.
Normally we expect a significant amount of self-study with support being available from the trainers to assist with problems. The appropriate training books are available from the RSGB Bookshop.
We do not run formal training courses and candidates can study at their own pace. The practical requirements of the Foundation and Intermediate can also be completed at the Saturday morning sessions.
Foundation and Intermediate exams are usually held on Saturdays before the training sessions. We need about 3 weeks notice to arrange these exams.
The Full level exams are run at times to suit the candidate, the invigilators and the availability of the hall. This may take a little longer to organise.
