Internetional Museums on the Air 2004 – Gampian Transport Museum
A weekend outing for Aberdeen Amateur Radio Society with special event call sign GB2GTM which took place over the 19th & 20th of June 2004. Our hosts Grampian Transport Museum premises is located in Alford. This national event was instigated by Harry Bloomfield M1BYT in light of Foot & Mouth restrictions which prevented the National Field Day event taking place.
This event continues to be well supported by many clubs and museums around the UK. Not many foreign stations were heard
